As the Trump administration continues to ramp up its America First Agenda to counter the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its efforts to undermine U.S. interests and national security, more and more organizations and groups like the Protecting America Initiative (PAI) are sounding the alarm about the threats that China poses against everyday Americans and their freedoms and liberties.

A new 30-second ad campaign by PAI in Florida outlines the real and present threat that Chinese-manufactured medical devices pose to Americans, and the risk of their personal medical data being compromised and falling into the hands of the Chinese government.

Over the past few years, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been leading the national effort to expose the CCP's aggressive infiltration into American society.

From pushing back against allowing China and affiliated companies to buy land in Florida, to campaigning against illegal Chinese vapes, Gov. DeSantis and now-Attorney General James Uthmeier, are out in front of the ongoing Chinese economic grab in the U.S.

According to a recent report, United Imaging, a Chinese government-affiliated medical tech company based in Shanghai with links to industrial espionage produced hardware, may have, or could have the potential of being compromised.

What's worse is that United Imaging is funded by the National Institutes of Health.

"A corporation with deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party and links to industrial espionage produces hardware used for sensitive medical research funded by the National Institutes of Health, a Washington Examiner review has found...United Imaging is a multinational medical technology company based in Shanghai that has conducted research alongside the Chinese military and cooperated with the state-backed Chinese Academy of Sciences. In addition to its government links, three United Imaging affiliates were charged in 2013 with transferring “nonpublic information” generated at an NIH-funded lab to the company and the Chinese Academy of Sciences in exchange for payments." The PAI ad is effective, gets right to the point about the Chinese threat and pressures the Republican-led Florida Legislature to "do more."

China wants our data. And now, they’re using our own hospitals to get it.

Not only is China monitoring our phones, but they’re using lifesaving medical technology from Chinese companies.

At check-ups, during surgery — Floridians are vulnerable to Chinese data mining… without ever knowing it.

President Trump’s already getting tough on China, but Florida Republicans can do more.

Let’s end the data breaches once and for all.

Let’s get China out of our health care.
