Derek Dufresne, Chief Strategist for Representative Kat Cammack (R-FL), clapped back at Congressional candidate Seth Harp, who is running against her as a Democrat, in an exchange over X (formerly Twitter).

On Thursday, Harp posted that he had invited Rep. Cammack to host a joint town hall in her Congressional District. The Alachua County Republicans responded via Instagram, which Harp posted screenshots of, saying that she was in Congress and thus could not appear.

Additionally, the Alachua County GOP pointed out that Harp could not host a town hall anyway since he is not an elected official, and his challenge "just comes off as a political stunt."

In his reply, Harp accused the Republicans of "carrying water" for the Florida Congresswoman and further said, "And as much as I would enjoy continuing this battle of wits with you, it is overwhelmingly clear that you are unarmed, judging by the quality and effort of your response."

"It's been 72 hours since I cordially challenged @Kat_Cammack to Co-Host a joint FL-03 Town Hall to provide every citizen a vision for 2026 and beyond," Harp said in his X post, adding, "She and her office have yet to respond. But tonight the @alachuaREC did, via DM on Instagram."

Dufresne snapped back, "Alright man, I've ignored you until now [because] there's no reason to engage with a [clown emoji], but let's be real here — you want to be a lawmaker, but you have already broken the law… over… and over… again:"

The Chief Strategist quickly reminds Harp that he "failed to: 1) File your personal financial disclosure report. 2) File your quarterly FEC reports for Q1 and Q2."

"You also might want to check a thing called the congressional calendar," Dufresne continued, adding, "Google should help with that. You legit challenged the congresswoman to a debate when she is in Washington doing her job, casting votes."

To finish Harp off, Dufresne concludes, "You aren't a serious candidate, Seth, and you're just a sad [clown] trying to pull a political stunt. We need real leaders in Congress. Not a [clown] who breaks the law."
