The reigning Miss United States is seeking a restraining order against Republican Rep. Cory Mills for threatening to expose her sexual videos and harm her future boyfriends, Drop Site News reported.
25-year-old Lindsey Langston, who won the Miss United States title in Aug. 2024, filed a police report with the Columbia County Sheriff's office against Mills in mid-July.
She provided text messages and audio recordings documenting times Mills threatened to send future boyfriends intimate videos of Langston and potentially harm them ("Strap up, cowboy.")
"The threats from Cory intensified over time,” Langston told Drop Site. “From emotional manipulation, to physical violence against whoever I date in the future, to threats of having me stripped of the Miss United States crown… something I worked extremely hard for and a dream that was placed in my heart long before I even knew who Cory Mills was.”
Also serving as a Columbia County Republican State Committee woman, Langston told deputies that she began dating Mills in 2021, but the two broke up after national news reports surfaced that he had allegedly bruised another supposed girlfriend of his that Langston wasn't aware of.
That woman, Sarah Raviani, later walked back all claims that Mills had harmed her. Mills told Langston the relationship was "PR" and allegations of abuse were media fabrications.
According to Drop Site, Mills repeatedly messaged Langston from various numbers and social media accounts after she broke up with him.
"Please leave me alone," Langston wrote on June 12. Mills replied, "Okay Linds. Get me his number and I can send him videos. Take care."
Mills has denied all wrongdoing.
