AdventHealth Orlando has been recognized as one of the best hospitals in the United States, according to a list released Tuesday from U.S. News & World Report.
“These rankings reflect the remarkable care our team and physicians provide every patient, every day – bringing our mission to life through clinical excellence and whole-person care,” said Brian Adams, CEO of AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division. “It’s an honor to be named among America’s best hospitals. I’m grateful for our team’s steadfast commitment to delivering world-class medicine so our neighbors never need to leave Central Florida for care.”
The annual list recognizes the 20 best hospitals in America based on various factors, including patient outcomes, staffing, and specialized care. Notably, AdventHealth was the only Florida hospital in the top 20.
Other factors were patient experience and hospital staffing.
Specifically, AdventHealth ranked in 11 adult and 3 pediatric specialties. It was also rated high performing in 22 adult procedures and conditions. The hospital's specialties include cancer care, cardiology and heart vascular surgery, neurology & neurosurgery, and obstetrics and gynecology, among several others.

Other hospitals recognized in the list were Boston's Brigham and Women's Hospital, Los Angeles's Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the Cleveland Clinic, Hackensack University Medical Center at Hackensack Meridian Health, Hospitals of the University of Pennsylvania-Penn Presbyterian, Houston Methodist Hospital, Baltimore's Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, and New York City's Mount Sinai Hospital, UCLA Medical Center in Los Angelas, University of Michigan Health-Ann Arbor, among others.
