Representative Randy "the Hebrew Hammer" Fine (R-FL) is introducing legislation to designate the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as a domestic terrorist organization.

According to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), CAIR was founded in 1994 as a Muslim civil rights organization that has faced numerous controversies for its membership's pro-Hamas views and downplaying or legitimizing of the horrific October 7th, 2023, terror attacks in Israel.

CAIR also shared strong ties to the Holy Land Foundation (HLF), a pro-Palestine group that was convicted of funneling over $12 million, the largest trial for terrorist financing in American history, to Hamas in May 2009. CAIR helped fund the defense of the founding members.

As a result, Rep. Fine lived up to his "Hebrew Hammer" nickname in his press release, dubbing CAIR "a Trojan horse for terrorism operating inside our own borders."

"Enough is Enough," Rep. Fine continued, adding, "For far too long, groups like CAIR have operated in our country and on our college campuses, promoting violent radical ideologies and defending the indefensible."

The Florida Congressman further stated that CAIR "has no place in American society," as "This is a group that celebrated the massacre on October 7th, saying it made them 'happy.' I was proud to lead Florida in designating CAIR as a terrorist front, and I will be 'happy' when Congress does the same."

Last February, Fine led the Florida State House of Representatives in a resolution condemning CAIR and publicly dissociating the Florida Legislature from the organization.

That same month, the Hebrew Hammer expressed contempt for Aysenur Ezgi Eyg, a Turkish-American activist who was shot for throwing rocks at Israeli Defense Force (IDF) soldiers.

His post to X (formerly Twitter) infuriated CAIR, but Fine effectively told them to go pound sand in a statement to The Floridian.

"CAIR is a primary American supporter of Muslim terror," Fine told us, adding, "It's no surprise they are sad about the death of one of their fellow terrorists. I am not. #BombsAway."
