Houthi terrorists continue threatening Israel’s civilian population with daily missile attacks, the latest of which occurred within the last 24 hours.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported “projectile fire from Yemen” that could have impacted dozens of civilian areas.

The Houthis’ latest attacks on Israel follow recently signed agreements with the US to cease attacks on US and allied ships.

President Donald Trump authorized the ceasefire agreement with Houthi terrorists, conditioned on the latter’s cessation of anti-shipping activities.

"We will stop the bombings,” said Trump. “They (Houthis) have capitulated... we will take their word that they will not be blowing up ships anymore, and that's the purpose of what we were doing."

Before the ceasefire, Houthi forces orchestrated drone and missile attacks against US military and commercial ships and increasingly directly attacked Israel’s civilian population.

While Houthi officials have thus far halted attacking US assets, they have continued attacking Israel, the US’s strongest Middle Eastern ally.

Israel has responded to the Houthis forcefully, as exemplified by a recent series of airstrikes on Houthi targets following the latter’s attacks on Israel’s Ben Gurion International airport.

Houthi leadership, however, has defiantly pledged to continue attacks against Israel.

The Houthis’ continued aggression against Israel has prompted rebuke from American lawmakers, some of whom have requested President Trump to respond in defense of Israel.

“I am very sad and disappointed to hear that after all the efforts to deal with the Houthis, they are still shooting ballistic missiles at our friends in Israel,” said Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

Senator Graham further urged President Trump to hold the Houthis “accountable” for attacking Israel.

“I appreciate President Trump trying to pursue peace on multiple fronts, however we must hold bad actors accountable when they defy these efforts,” continued Graham.

Israel is expected to respond to the Houthis in the coming days, but it remains unclear whether the US will join such a response.
