Promises made and promises kept. State Senator Randy Fine (R) has followed through with his commitment to file legislation that would extend concealed carry rights to college and university campuses.

Sen. Fine’s bill, SB 814, was filed to help students and faculty protect themselves from the increase in “Muslim terror advocates,” particularly after the Hamas terror attack in Israel the left over 1,500 Israelis and foreign nationals dead, maimed, missing, and held captive.

“The Second Amendment does not take the semester off when you step on a college campus,” said Sen. Fine.   “Adults should have the right to protect themselves on campus, particularly after so many universities across America chose to protect Muslim terror advocates over their own students.   There is no magic force field that keeps criminals from carrying a gun onto campus; this bill will ensure that students have the same rights on campus as they do off.

Fine, who is currently running for the U.S. House of Representatives, has also vowed to take on members of the Progressive “Squad” in the House of Representatives over their alleged antisemitic leanings, namely Democratic Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar (D)

Earlier this year, Fine called for the expulsion on any non-American who “advocated for Muslim terror.”

"We need to immediately expel any non-Americans who are or have advocated for Muslim terror as a first step," he told The Floridian in a text message. "We need to investigate and prosecute organizations on college campuses—includ[ing] those administrators and faculty that support them—and outside them that promote Muslim terror.

"We need to end all university funding from Muslim terror backers like Qatar," continued Fine, one of just two Jewish Republicans in the state Legislature. "And we need to strip all government licenses and funding, as we have seen is an issue in Florida, to licensed professionals and academic institutions that support Muslim terror."
