New Orleans and Las Vegas were hit with deadly attacks that lawmakers and authorities have linked to terrorism
A 42-year-old Texas man and Army veteran rammed a pickup truck into a crowd during New Year’s celebrations on Bourbon Street in New Orleans this week. The attack left at least 15 people killed and dozens injured. On the truck was an ISIS flag, and the FBI is investigating the attack as an “act of terrorism.”
In Las Vegas, a Tesla cybertruck filled with fuel and fireworks exploded outside of a Trump hotel, leaving 1 dead and 7 injured.
In response, Republican lawmakers have condemned the attacks as acts of terrorism, accusing the incumbent president of emboldening Hamas and Iran to commit such acts.
On social media, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) lashed out at Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R), and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R), claiming that they’ve provided $9 billion to Hamas along with $10 billion that President Biden gave to Iran.
It is becoming increasingly obvious that the terrorist attacks in New Orleans and the Las Vegas Trump Hotel are organized and connected.
While we wait for more details, I’d like to point out that it’s insane to fund our enemies.

Florida Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R) reiterated the need to secure the border on social media. “Intelligence prevents acts of terrorism before they happen, but if somebody’s trying to perpetrate something, then you need some physical barriers and you need also the presence of law enforcement,” he said during an interview on Fox News when asked about security regarding the January 20th inauguration and the upcoming national championship college football game.

Texas Rep. Wesley Hunt (R) similarly took to social media to comment on the attacks, writing that “the nation is on high alert and understandably anxious.”
President Biden issued a statement after the attack in New Orleans, affirming that he will keep Americans “fully, contemporaneously informed.”
Reports are increasingly suggesting multiple terrorist attacks on American soil.
From the tragic mass-casualty event in New Orleans to what appears to be a bombing outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas, the nation is on high alert and understandably anxious.
