Donalds Says House Republicans Have 'Responsibility' to Investigate 'Biden Crime Family'

Share

WASHINGTON—House Republicans appear to be planning to investigate President Joe Biden and those he recently gave a full pardon to, including his family, or as Republicans like to call them, “The Biden Crime Family.”

President Biden’s pardoning of his family from being prosecuted and potentially jailed by the Trump Department of Justice  has all but handcuffed Republican lawmakers from going after the “Biden Crime Family.”

Will Republicans investigate Biden's family even though they have been pardoned?

Rep. Byron Donalds (R), who sits on the House Oversight Committee, recently told The Floridian that congressional Republicans had “a responsibility to lay out what the family was doing,” adding that he could see “Oversight continuing to uncover all of the tragedies that were the corruption of the Biden Family," and potential cover-ups."

Rep. Donalds, who is expected to announce his gubernatorial candidacy sometime in late spring or early summer, asserted that Biden’s pardoning of his family was a way of the former President of “preemptively trying to go out there and clean the slate, on everything that was happening from the time he was vice president til the other day.”

“That’s egregious. It’s foul. It’s gross. So I do think we have a responsibility to lay out exactly what the family was doing, so the American people know, frankly, how corrupt the former president is,” said Donalds.

Donald echoed Republican campaign talking points that the Hunter Biden evaded taxes to keep authorities from tying compensation from China and Russia to the Bidens.
