Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) addressed concerns of Republican infighting impeding President-elect Donald Trump's agenda in a recent appearance on Fox News's Bottom Line, saying, "We are committed to that. I think every member is ready to do that work."

Host Dagen McDowell began the conversation by asking Rep. Donalds if he believed Trump would be able to successfully reverse all of President Biden's policies and reform the government simultaneously, to which the Florida Congressman said, "Yeah, we can get it done, and here is why: Because the American people know that the way Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the technocrats in the Democrat Party have been running this government is atrocious. They have run it into the ground."

Rep. Donalds also reiterated that Trump and Republicans have been given a mandate via the 2024 Election. He has been meeting with members of Congress, adding, "We are getting down to business right now to be able to deliver President Trump's agenda to his desk so we can get this country back on track. So, all of the things you guys have talked about, of course we can address it and we are going to address it."

McDowell noted the "mantra around unity" among Republicans, which she believed was demonstrated with Mike Johnson's (R-LA) reelection as Speaker of the House of Representatives. She asked if there was a genuine sense of unity "because it is going to take all of you to get this done without being bogged down in infighting, which could really kill the momentum."

Donalds affirmed the unity was genuine, and "whether you are somebody who is on the most conservative right flank of our party or somebody that we would say probably is more center-right, more in the middle of the road when it comes to our party, everybody is committed to doing the key things: securing our nation's border, reauthorizing tax policy, getting rid of the crazy regulatory mandates from Joe Biden and his crazy administration, and then doing everything possible to curtail spending and set this nation up for success fiscally, we are committed to that. I think every member is ready to do that work."
