The Chinese Threat to the U.S. Continues. Lawmakers Follow DeSantis' Lead

Florida has been the tip of the spear in the effort to prevent Communist China from procuring land or property near U.S. Military installations in the continental United States States. The Chinese threat is real.

Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Republican-controlled Florida Legislature have championed legislation preventing China and its allies from buying land in Florida, particularly land close to military bases. READ MORE

Now more and more federal lawmakers are also sounding the alarm of the Chinese threat.

Senator Marco Rubio recently penned a letter expressing his concern over a Chinese company’s new plant situated 60 miles from a U.S. base.

According to federal regulations, foreign business operations cannot be conducted within 100 miles of the base. READ MORE
