President Donald Trump (R)  is scheduled to deliver remarks on the economy this Wednesday. He will hold a rally in Asheville, North Carolina to discuss the "economic hardships" he blames the Harris-Biden Administration for creating. As national polls show Vice President Kamala Harris (D) closing the gap that President Joe Biden (D) struggled with, President Trump maintains that it won't be enough for Democrats to gain a victory in November.

In a message sent to supporters, the Trump campaign announced the upcoming rally, noting that it will focus on the economic burdens that have befallen Americans.

"Prices are excruciatingly high, and the cost of living has soared - leaving those on a fixed-income, unsure of how they are going to afford a basic standard of living in the future," the message reads. "Since Kamala Harris and Joe Biden took office, prices in North Carolina have risen over 21% and families have spent an astonishing $24,937 since 2021."

The Trump campaign points out that the people who are the most prone to economic struggles during this time are the people that are on a fixed income. Moreover, "Medical care, prescriptive drugs, non-prescription drugs, hospital services, nursing home and adult day care services, have all gone up because of weak, failed, and dangerously liberal Kamala Harris and Joe Biden's policies."

In response, the campaign highlights that President Trump does not plan on making any cuts to Social Security or Medicare, adding that "he has always pledged to protect these imperative benefits to America's seniors."

"President Trump wants to ban tax on Social Security for seniors and he will Make America Great Again by reintroducing common-sense economic policies, protecting Social Security and Medicare, and reversing the effects of failed Democrat induced inflation — putting money back in the pockets of hard-working Americans across the country!"

The rally will take place at Harrah's Cherokee Center. The doors will open at 1:00 P.M., and President Trump will deliver his remarks at 4:00 P.M.
