Representative Brian Mast (R-FL) spoke to Host Martha McCallum on Fox News to discuss a possible counter-attack from Iran and its proxy forces after Israel conducted multiple successful missions to kill top military and political leaders of Hezbollah and Hamas. Since Oct. 7 when Hamas forces para trooped into Israel and killed approximately 1,200 people, the death toll has steadily increased on both sides.

However, Israel has gone on the offensive with the assassinations of the proxy leaders but has opened itself to “revenge” from Iran. Rep. Mast believes the move from the Jewish State could actually bring peace due to its demonstration of strength.

“I think what is happening is you have a lot of people at the table, which demonstrates what happens when you do have shows of strength. It forces people to come to the table. That show of strength by Israel with that assassination. People might not have liked it, but it showed what the capabilities were. It created an abundance of strength, not a demonstration of weakness, and it made people come together to speak,” said Rep. Mast.

He continued by vehemently disagreeing with White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby who stated the U.S. “can’t begin to speculate about what might happen in the wake of an Iranian attack.” Mast thinks the U.S. knows exactly what Iran and its proxies are capable of.

“Now, when Kirby says they don't know exactly what could take place, and they can't anticipate what that is, I absolutely disagree with that. They know the quantity of arsenal that Iran proper and their proxy forces, Hezbollah and others have,” said the Florida congressman.

He continued by sharing more specifics regarding the knowledge of Iran’s capabilities.

“They know the quantity of what they have in Syria, in Lebanon. They know where these things, in many cases, are located, whether it's a Fajr-5 in the distance that could travel, or something else. They know the assets that they're bringing to bear in the region for specific reasons,” said Mast.

Brian Mast represents Florida’s 21st Congressional District. He is a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient.
