Florida Congressman Carlos Gimenez (R) traveled to Butler, Pennsylvania, and climbed onto the roof of the building former President Donald Trump’s would-be assassin climbed to fire his weapon.

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle stated that its officers were not on that roof because of the pitch due to a “safety factor,” but Rep. Gimenez blew that argument out of the water.

“As you can see, I’m a 70-year-old man, this roof is not a big deal. So for someone to tell me that Secret Service agents couldn’t have been there, that’s crazy,” said Gimenez in a video he posted on social media.

Meanwhile, Director Kimberly Cheatle was grilled by both House Democrats during a meeting in the House Oversight Committee over the failures of the Secret Service.
