Mills Condemns Biden's Border Policy After Murder of Houston Girl, 'Buying an Election'

Share

Last week saw the horrific murder of a 12-year-old girl in Houston, Texas, by two illegal immigrants from Venezuela who had recently entered the country. Representative Cory Mills (R-FL) held nothing back, condemning the Biden Administration in a recent appearance on Fox Business's Cavuto Coast to Coast, accusing the President of refusing to take action on the border because he wants to replace Americans and "buy his way into a second presidency."

"The amount of Angel Families that are continuing to compile as a result of these failed border policies as a result of this week, soft-on-crime, catch-and-release, no bail reform under the Biden Administration is really encouraging criminal activity and terrorizing our communities," said Rep. Mills, referencing the Houston murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, the rape of a 13-year-old girl in New York City, and the murder of Laken Riley in February.

As a result, Rep. Mills called for the reimplementation of Trump-era border policies such as Title 42, Remain in Mexico, and for the deportation of all illegal immigrants and a temporary immigration moratorium.

However, the Florida Congressman noted, "Joe Biden has refused because he wants the replacement theory. He wants amnesty, and he wants to grant citizenship to vote in the elections to try and buy his way into a second presidency."

When asked how Democrats justified the border, Mills said some do not, while others do not believe in borders at all.

"Not all of my colleagues on the left or right actually say that they would justify it one way or another. There are many who think that there should be no borders at all, and that is obvious. But you have got people like Joe Biden and the rest of the administration who will lie about this bipartisan Senate agreement, which is nothing more than an amnesty bill that could not even pass the Senate, and then he will act as if he is doing an executive order under 212 Section F to close the border, but he will still allow [Customs and Border Protection] to do a catch and release process. Nothing has changed; it is all political pandering, and this is Joe Biden wanting to buy an election using taxpayers' money and at the expense of our children's lives so that he can try and go into a second presidency and destroy our nation," Mills concluded.
