Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) joined Sean Hannity on Fox News in the spin room in Atlanta following Thursday’s debate alongside former senior advisor to President Trump (R). The Florida congressman provided his thoughts as well as some quips against President Joe Biden (D).

By almost all accounts, President Biden’s performance was lackluster. His age did not play well with the audience around the country as he continuously mumbled, lost his train of thought, chained together words and phrases that did not necessarily make sense, and stared into the non-existent crowd.

However, Rep. Gaetz immediately maintained the focus on President Trump’s performance, calling it the “most dominant” in history.

“Donald Trump delivered the most dominant debate performance in presidential debate history,” said Rep. Gaetz. “Meanwhile, Joe Biden was bludgeoned so bad, he will likely have to be identified by his dental records after this debate. President Trump showed focus, showed clarity, boldness, vision, and you know what? Donald Trump showed empathy for the people who've been the victims of the illegal immigration Joe Biden has allowed. And him showing that empathy is going to grow our movement. Meanwhile, the other side is in total chaos. The headline in Politico? ‘Biden is toast.’”

Furthermore, Rep. Gaetz blasted the President’s debate performance from a substantive perspective as well.

“There's not a single problem America faces that Joe Biden provided a single solution for,” said Gaetz. “Donald Trump talked about lowering our taxes, getting our regulatory policy right sized, becoming energy dominant again, sealing the border, making sure that Americans can achieve economic potential and live their dreams again. Meanwhile, Joe Biden demonstrated that he is a man in decline, leading a nation in decline. We don't want to join Joe Biden and that decline. The Democratic Party right now in total turmoil. Meanwhile, Donald Trump is growing our movement with that great sense of vision.”

Furthermore, Representative Chip Roy (R-TX) felt that Biden’s performance was so worrisome that he intends to call on Vice President Kamala Harris (D) to invoke the 25th Amendment, which could lead to the principal officers of the Cabinet declaring the President to be unfit for office.

Matt Gaetz represents Florida’s 1st Congressional District.
