This Memorial Day weekend, former President Donald Trump has announced his “Veterans and Military Families for Trump” coalition of over 175 endorsements from Veterans, Congressmen and women, and heroes who have shown dedication to their country.

"Veterans and Military Families for Trump” are unified around their support for President Trump as a leader fighting to ensure that the sacrifices of our Veterans and their families are honored, not forgotten. Unlike the weak Joe Biden, President Trump has consistently proven he cares deeply about the unbelievable sacrifices made by our nation’s Veterans and their wonderful families. While Joe Biden looks at his watch during the dignified transfer of our fallen heroes, President Trump salutes the ongoing service and ultimate sacrifice this community makes every day to protect our communities," stated President Trump in a press release.

This isn’t the first time President Trump has shown support for  Veterans. In his D-Day speech, Trump addressed Veterans that “our debt to you is everlasting”. The Trump administration has helped hundreds of thousands of Veterans find employment and has eliminated student loan debt owed by American Veterans who are permanently disabled.

The first Memorial Day was on May 30th, 1868. To honor the lives given for this country by brave men and women. Thanks to the courage of our Veterans, we stand as a free nation.
