Rick Scott/ The Floridian
WASHINGTON—Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) sat down with The Floridian for an exclusive interview surrounding President Joe Biden’s (D) approach to the Israel-Hamas war, calling him the "most pro-Hamas President in our lifetime." After President Biden announced that he would not send offensive weapons to aid Israel’s movement into Rafah, a southern region in Gaza, Republicans around the country vehemently disagreed with his decision.
“There’s not one person in this country that believes in Israel that should ever vote for Joe Biden. Joe Biden is the most pro-Hamas president in our lifetime. Most pro-Iran President probably in our lifetime. I think he does even better than Obama,” said Sen. Scott.
He mentioned that during his trip to Israel, he saw where the horrors took place during the Oct. 7 attack on Jewish civilians.
“I was just in Israel about six weeks ago. I was a half mile from Gaza. I was in a little kibbutz – Kfar Aza. I saw where babies were murdered. Others were raped, people burned alive, people shot point blank just because they were Jews. I saw where they came in,” said Sen. Scott.
He would go on to say that “Israel has no choice” but to continue their campaign.
“Israel has no choice. I met with the Prime Minister, I met with the Minister of Defense, I met with IDF. They have no choice but destroy the last battalions of Hamas there in Rafah. That’s where they are. [Israel is going to do] everything they can to keep the civilians safe. But, I mean, the problem is Hamas. They have to destroy them.”
Scott concluded, “So when Biden says he’s not going to give weapons, he’s saying that he supports Hamas. He said he doesn’t care how many IDF soldiers are killed because that’s the end result.”
Recently, Senator Scott accused President Biden of now being a member of the "pro-Hamas wing of his [Democrat] party," adding that "Israel has no choice but to destroy Rafah."
