Rubio Says 'World's on Fire' and US 'In Shambles' Under Biden

Every four years, presidential hopefuls will ask Americans "Are you better off than you were 4 years ago?"And every four years, Americans will respond by voting at the ballot box. With the upcoming election projecting that President Donald Trump (R) could be reelected back to office, Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R) believes there are ample reasons why the former president will be voted back into office.

In an interview with The Floridian, Senator Rubio argued for a change in leadership because everything "is in shambles."

When asked how the state of affairs had changed under President Biden, Senator Rubio - who's rumored to be under consideration for the role of President Trump's Vice President - assured that "there's nothing in America that's better today than it was when Trump was president."

Beginning with inflation, he stressed that "our economy is in shambles with inflation." According to the Florida Senator, inflation was at 1.4% when Trump left office, and "today, it's over 9%."

"Real wages are down 4% per week for Americans, meaning you have 4% less money, so people are feeling that. We got run out of Afghanistan by the Taliban. Like, literally run out, and in the process we lost many brave Americans. And then they lied to us about it. Right after that, within months, Putin invades Ukraine and then Hamas attacks Israel. So, the world's on fire," the Senator explained.

Rubio added that there is a "war in the Middle East, potentially a broader war with Iran launching missiles and so forth. Iran has the money now. They didn't have the money under Trump. They were broke."

Senator Rubio also warned that, under President Biden, "Putin invaded Ukraine, starting the first war in Europe since the end of the Second World War," and "every day the Chinese are testing the Taiwanese, the Filipinos."

He also feels that the incumbent has exacerbated issues with the southern border. These are issues that were not prevalent under President Trump's tenure.

"He's either senile or he's a liar, and that's the only conclusion I can come to. If we have another four years of Joe Biden, it will probably irreparably harm America for at least a generation, maybe longer, " concluded Rubio.
