Matt Gaetz Endorses Meg Weinberger in Key Florida House Race

The hotly contested state house race to replace term-limited Rep. Rick Roth (R) in Palm Beach County, Florida could be on the verge of being defined as philanthropist Meg Weinberger has just landed the endorsement of America First Rep. Matt Gaetz (R).

In a post this past weekend on “X,” Rep. Gaetz stated that Weinberger has his “full support and endorsement,” adding that he believed she would “champion the conservative policies that have made our beloved Florida the envy of the nation.”

"Meg Weinberger is running for State Representative in Florida and she has my full support and endorsement. I know in the State House she will champion the conservative policies that have made our beloved Florida the envy of the nation. Meg and I share a passion for rescue animals, too! Meg is a MAGA fighter. She will keep our taxes low and our streets safe. Vote for Meg,” stated Rep. Gaetz.

Gaetz’s endorsement of Weinberger comes off the heels of other key congressional endorsements, including those of Rep. Jason Smith, Gus Bilirakis, and Brian Mast.

In addition to her congressional endorsements, Weinberger has also garnered the support of  State Rep. Alina Garcia, Veterans for Trump, and from key statewide law enforcement organizations, The  Police Benevolent Association (PBA) and the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP).

Weinberger’s main opponent,  Anthony Aguirre has not been able to land any key or big-name endorsements but has managed to keep within a respectable fundraising margin of Weinberger.

To date, Weinberger has raised $208K while Aguirre has pocketed  $154K for his campaign.

As we mentioned, House District 94 is currently represented by Rep. Rick Roth (R) who is term-limited out of office later this year.

In addition to Weinberger and Aguirre, Republicans Jon Carter, Christian Acosta, and Gabrielle Fox, and Democrat Rachelle Litt, have also registered to run for this state house seat, but have until June 24th to qualify for the August 20 Republican primary election.
