Rep. Leek Receives Two Key Endorsements from U.S. Congressmen

State Representative Tom Leek (R-FL) has received two key endorsements for his State Senate bid. Support from U.S. Representatives Mike Waltz (R-FL) and Cory Mills (R-FL) could serve well for the state legislator in this election cycle.

Rep. Waltz described State Rep. Leek as someone who “consistently delivers results” for Floridians.

“Tom Leek upholds conservative values and consistently delivers results for the people of Northeast Florida. He is a true servant leader who respects and protects our men and women in uniform, as well as their families. There is no question in my mind that he will continue this important work in the state Senate, and as a veteran, I am extremely proud to offer him my endorsement,” said Rep. Waltz.

State Rep. Leek appreciated Waltz’s support.

“Congressman Michael Waltz is a decorated military veteran, trusted foreign policy advisor, successful small business owner, and a champion of issues that matter most to Floridians, from protecting farmers to expanding school choice,” said State Rep. Leek “I am honored to have his endorsement,” he concluded.

Furthermore, Rep. Mills stated that it is a “privilege” to support State Rep. Leek.

“It is a privilege to endorse Tom Leek for the Florida Senate. I know him as a man of integrity who has worked to improve the lives of his fellow Floridians – especially first responders, military personnel, and veterans – and I am confident he will continue to lead with strength and a steadfast conservative vision in this role,” said Congressman Mills.

Leek offered his gratitude for Mills’ endorsement as well.

“Congressman Cory Mills is a proven leader who does not back down from an opportunity to defend the principles of freedom and democracy, be it on the battlefield, in his community, or throughout the halls of Congress,” said State Rep. Leek. “I am immensely grateful for his endorsement and the trust he has placed in me to serve in state Senate,” he concluded.

Florida State Senate District 7 is up for grabs as State Senator Travis Hutson (R-FL) has been term-limited. State Sen. Hutson has endorsed Leek for his seat.
