Mills Rescues 10 Americans from Haitian Orphanage, Slams Biden for 'Abandonment'

Share

Representative Cory Mills (R-FL) announced that he and his team rescued a group of 10 Americans from the “Have Faith Orphanage” in Haiti on Monday.

In a statement, Rep. Mills exclaimed that President Joe Biden (D) has shown a “clear pattern of abandonment” after he and his team rescued Americans on their own.

“I am proud to report that my team and I were successful in evacuating and rescuing a trapped, and at risk group of Americans from ‘Have Faith Orphanage’ in Haiti last night. This recent mission reiterates a disturbing reality that under President Biden’s leadership American lives are continually jeopardized. I have conducted rescue/ evacs of Americans multiple times when Joe Biden has deserted them. There’s a clear pattern of abandonment! Afghanistan 2021. Israel 2023. Haiti 2024,” said Mills.

“Americans at home and abroad are more unsafe under Biden than ever before. We need President Trump back in the White House as the world can’t afford 4 more years of Biden’s failed administration,” the Florida congressman concluded.

This is not Rep. Mills’ first time going above and beyond to help his fellow countrymen and women as he evacuated 77 Americans from Israel in October, just four days after the initial terrorist attack committed by Hamas.

At the time, he said that “helping and showing solidarity with our Israeli brethren and helping Americans evacuate” after the heinous Hamas attack was something he as an American felt compelled to do.

In 2021, Mills rescued four American citizens who were stranded in Kabul after the explosion at Abbey Gate.

Representative Mike Waltz (R-FL) thanked Mills for his act of service as well.

“Thank you for your leadership Cory Mills. Rescuing Americans. Again,” said Rep. Waltz.

Mr. Steve Nikoui – the Gold Star father who stood up during the State of the Union and yelled “Do you remember Abbey Gate?” – listed Reps. Mills and Waltz as two of the “Four Horsemen” alongside Reps. Mast (R-FL) and Issa (R-CA) as congressmen who have come to the aid of Gold Star parents and families following the tragic events in Afghanistan in 2021.
