You have heard of candidates for elected office getting on their high horse to kiss babies, shake hands, and aggressively ask for campaign donations and support, right? Meg Weinberger, a philanthropist and animal rescue maven from Palm Beach County who running for the Republican nomination in Florida’s 94th State House District, literally jumped on one of her horses and is campaigning throughout her district.

According to Weinberger, her “America First” horseback ride is to bring awareness to former President Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy, her own race, and to bring attention to the ongoing practice of slaughtering animals in Florida

“Today we ride in support of President Donald Trump, the America First agenda, and to bring awareness to illegal horse and animal slaughterhouses located here in South Florida,” said Weinberger in a statement to The Floridian. “I adopted a horse to a family that had been stolen from their home. We found him the next day slaughtered for his meat.”

Weinberger and supporters were riding with both a Trump 2024 and Weinberger 2024 flags.
