Biden Gaza Airdrop Continues While UN Reports of Hamas Sexual Violence

Share

President Joe Biden’s Gaza humanitarian relief air campaign, which began late last week, has made its second delivery of aid.

The second aid airdrop mission focused on areas in Northern Gaza and was jointly conducted with the Royal Jordanian Air Force.

According to the U.S. Central Command  (CENTCOM), U.S. C-130s dropped over 36,800 meal equivalents over Northern Gaza.

CENTCOM announced future meal aid deliveries would follow.

The White House has justified the airdrops of humanitarian assistance by claiming they are intended to ameliorate the suffering of Palestinians who “have nothing to do with Hamas.”

Israel has been actively fighting Hamas terrorists across Gaza with most of the ground operations focusing in Northern Gaza.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) recently announced the discovery and subsequent destruction of an extensive underground tunnel in Northern Gaza, reportedly used by senior Hamas officials.

Last week, a United Nations investigation confirmed reports of Hamas terrorists raping Israeli civilians on and after October 7th.

Additionally, the report found credible evidence Israeli women and children held hostage in Gaza have been subject to rape and other forms of sexual violence.

“Based on the first-hand accounts of released hostages, the mission team received clear and convincing information that sexual violence, including rape, sexualized torture, and cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment occurred against some women and children during their time in captivity and has reasonable grounds to believe that this violence may be ongoing,” reads the report.

Israeli authorities had previously reported Hamas’ usage of sexual violence as part of their October 7th attacks.

Florida Senator Rick Scott (R-FL), responded to the latest UN report by calling for Hamas to be “totally destroyed.”

Senator Scott has also publicly criticized President Biden’s Israel foreign policy strategy.

Scott recently sent a letter urging Biden rescind two executive actions the former claims undermine Israeli interests.
