A new focal point in the Israel-Hamas war is the news that a hospital was struck by explosives, with Israel and Hamas blaming each other for the attack. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) spoke with Fox News' Laura Ingraham about how events such as these are "all part of the Hamas playbook" and that this war is just as much one of information as it is a war of ordinance and battlefield tactics.

"This is all part of the Hamas playbook, and of Hezbollah and Iran, for that matter," said Sen. Rubio, adding, "They do not just want to go in and kill a bunch of civilians, slaughter babies, terrible stories that we keep hearing come out, then they want to damage Israel around the world, and so that is why they take advantage of this."

Left-leaning media, Sen. Rubio continued, are the ones taken advantage of, advancing Hamas' narrative by blaming Israel for events such as the hospital strike. Of course, he questioned why anyone would believe Hamas after they had just committed a horrific terrorist attack, as if lying is somehow below them.

"At the end of the day, if you asked me to choose: do I believe Israel, or do I believe the people that just slaughtered a bunch of babies? I believe Israel. But beyond that, it makes all the sense in the world. I am glad [the Israeli Defense Forces] are going to release this footage. There is, side by side with the actual kinetic battle that you are seeing, you have an informational war going on," Rubio continued.

The footage Rubio was referring to provided by the IDF showed their own ordinance was not responsible for the hospital strike. The proof lay in the fact there was no crater that Israeli airstrikes usually leave behind, and the IDF released a transcript of an intercepted phone call between Hamas operatives realizing the explosion was caused by a failed rocket of their own.

Unfortunately, however, Rubio said the far-left in America and other news organizations around the world will still side with Hamas, saying that "the day is coming when the whole focus will be on how mean Israel is because they are eradicating a group that poses an extraordinary threat to their future and have already committed a credible atrocity."
