Voters Less Concerned About Trump's Age in NBC News poll

A new ABC News/Washington Post poll shows that President Donald Trump (R) is leading President Joe Biden (D). In the poll, President Trump has 51% over President Biden’s 42%. According to an NBC News national poll, voters appear to be less concerned over Trump's age.

In a potential 2020 rematch, the ABC News/Washington Post poll shows that 51% of voters would elect President Trump. This comes at a time when President Biden is facing sinking approval ratings when it comes to illegal immigration and the economy.

However, in the new NBC News  poll, voters highlight their concerns over the upcoming election.

At the top of the list regarding major concerns in the election, 59% of voters argue that Biden does not have the necessary mental and physical health to be president for a second term. 52% of voters likewise argue that Trump facing four different criminal and civil trials for alleged wrongdoing and multiple felony charges related to the 2020 election is concerning.

At 45%, voters are concerned about Biden possibly being aware of Hunter Biden’s involvement in financial wrongdoing and corruption. Finally, 34% of those polled argued that Trump does not have the necessary mental or physical health to be president for a second term.

All of the drama that has been saddled to Trump doesn't appear to matter to voters as the former president keeps expanding his lead. The poll, which was conducted between September 15 and 19, shows that despite Trump's latest indictment in Fulton County, Georgia, voters are still supporting Trump.

Republican Pollster Bill McInturff of Public Opinion Strategies conducted the poll with Democratic pollster Jeff Horwitt and his team at Hart Research Associates. Commenting on the poll, McInturff commented that "this survey is a startling flashing red light for an incumbent party."

Horwitt commented that "the numbers for Biden aren't where he needs them to be," adding that "the lens for most voters is still through Donald Trump first."
