The tides are turning on the “red wave” as Republicans turn on President Donald Trump (R). Amidst the charges against President Trump regarding Georgia and the 2020 election, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp (R) has responded to the allegations. Taking to social media to respond to President Trump, Governor Kemp has stated that “the 2020 election in Georgia was not stolen.”

Georgia has been at the center of political discussions for several election cycles given the gubernatorial race between Governor Kemp and Stacey Abrams (D).

The state was also a fixture in the 2020 election as the state’s 16 electoral college votes went to President Joe Biden (D).

With the new charges aimed at President Trump, Trump took to social media to announce that “a Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia is almost complete & will be presented by me at a major News Conference at 11:00 A.M. on Monday of next week in Bedminster, New Jersey.”

While Trump supporters might be anxiously awaiting the information, some in the Republican Party are not thrilled.

Governor Kemp took to social media to respond to Trump, affirming that “the 2020 election in Georgia was not stolen.”

“For nearly three years now, anyone with evidence of fraud has failed to come forward – under oath – and prove anything in a court of law,” Kemp expressed, adding that “our elections in Georgia are secure, accessible, and fair and will continue to be as long as I am governor.”

“The future of our country is at stake in 2024 and that must be our focus,” Kemp concluded.

In his announcement of the report, Trump further commented that “based on the results of this CONCLUSIVE Report, all charges should be dropped against me & others – There will be a complete EXONERATION!”
