Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) went on Fox Business and gave his perspective surrounding what he believes are the black community’s thoughts concerning social issues such as transgender ideology.

The video, which appears to have been edited for brevity, showcases Rep. Donalds’ rejection of the recent cultural shift by asserting that black men are not for transitioning children.

“I think it’s definitely starting to build especially with black men, but the Democrats have had issues with black men for quite some time now because their party believes it’s okay to trans children and black men are just not for that whatsoever,” stated Rep. Donalds.

He brought up a hypothetical, stating, “They’re like, ‘Man, are you kidding me? My boy is a boy, my girl is a girl, leave my children alone.’ And then you couple that with the fact that Joe Biden has been a disaster as President, especially on the economy. So those are two big reasons why black men are already starting to give a side eye to Joe Biden and the Democrats,” Donalds said.

Earlier this month in an appearance on Fox Business's Kudlow, Donalds minced no words when he called Biden "a disaster when it comes to economic leadership" and "not helping anybody in this country."

"Joe Biden, when he came into office, the only thing he needed to do was go on vacation and do nothing because the building blocks that were set in place by President Trump were going to bring America back, and [Biden] has destroyed our American economy. He has been a disaster when it comes to economic leadership," said Donalds.

He would go on to mention that America should be returning to energy independence.

"Let's start with actually being energy independent and using the vast amount of resources our country has. We should be using that. If energy prices are down, families can get ahead. The only families that can get ahead in Joe Biden's economy are people who are rich, or maybe Hunter Biden because he is shaking down countries all across the globe. And when you get money coming in like that, you are not worried about the price at the pump and the price in the grocery store," Donalds said.

Some Republicans – including Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) – believe that Donalds could be a formidable Vice President candidate on a Trump ticket.
