House Democrats Dare Republicans to Impeach a 'Very Corrupt' President Biden

Share

WASHINGTON–Efforts to impeach President Biden by House Republicans have ramped up since allegations of corruption became public earlier this month. The Floridian was able to catch up with Representatives Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) and Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) and was able to obtain their respective takes on a potential impeachment vote.

Rep. Luna stated her intention to vote in favor of the impeachment, calling President Biden "very, very corrupt" and "a total, total pawn of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party)."

"I am going to vote for it. I think that [Biden], based on what I'm finding, is very, very corrupt. And I think that is not even a partisan issue, although he is going to make it partisan. The guy should not be in office. Total, total pawn of the CCP," said Rep. Luna.

She also expressed confidence in her renewed efforts to censure Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) for his role in propagating the Russian collusion narrative, which initially died on the House floor.

Rep. Moskowitz on the other hand, seemed defiant, goading House Republicans into going through with the proceedings. Rep. Moskowitz claimed, "They know the American people are not going to stand for it" and "the votes don't exist."

"Look, they're trying to impeach every Secretary and administrative officer that works in this administration. They've filed articles of impeachment kind of against everybody, there will be nobody left in government the way they're going with impeachment. But you know what? Let them put their money where their mouth is. Let them go ahead. If they think this is such a great idea, go ahead, and start impeachment proceedings. Do you know why they're not going to do it? Because they know the American people are not going to stand for it, that's why it's not going to happen. That's why the votes don't exist," said Moskowitz.

Rep. Jared Moskowitz

When asked about how House Democrats followed through with their threats to impeach former President Donald Trump, Moskowitz against challenged House Republicans to "go ahead, adding. "The American people don't want to see it because the American people don't believe  President Biden should be impeached."

It was earlier reported that any attempts at impeachment now would be likely to fail.
