After the news broke concerning President Joe Biden’s (D) son, Hunter Biden pleading guilty to three criminal charges including two misdemeanor tax-evasion charges and a felony gun possession charge, Florida politicians responded to the development.
According to initial reports by NBC News, it appears that Hunter Biden will not face any jail time as long as he “meets certain conditions.”
While Governor and presidential candidate Ron DeSantis (R) was on the campaign trail, he stated that Hunter has received “a sweetheart deal.”

“Two different sets of rules, depending on whether you’re a member in good standing of elite society or not. If Hunter were a Republican, he would’ve been in jail years ago,” stated Gov. DeSantis.
Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) mentioned that the justice system works a lot more efficiently when looking to prosecute a Republican and that the “wheels of justice” turn slower for Democrats and their associates.
