Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has announced that his campaign continues to garner legislative support for his 2024 presidential election, stating that he has received the endorsement of (15) South Carolina State Senators and Representatives.

“Governor DeSantis’ leadership has made Florida a refuge for those seeking freedom in a nation where it is under attack,” state Senator Josh Kimbrell said. “No Republican in the country has beaten the radical left more than Governor DeSantis, and he is the only candidate in this race who can defeat Joe Biden, put energy back in the executive, and deliver on a bold conservative agenda that Republicans across South Carolina are looking for.”

Here is the list:

State Senator Josh Kimbrell
State Senator Dwight Loftis
State Senator Rex Rice
State Senator Danny Verdin
State Representative Gary Brewer
State Representative Micah Caskey
State Representative Bill Herbkersman
State Representative Bill Hixon
State Representative Brandon Guffey
State Representative Steven Long
State Representative Travis Moore
State Representative Dennis Moss
State Representative Chris Murphy
State Representative Roger Nutt
State Representative Ashley Trantham
The list of South Carolina lawmakers adds to his campaign’s surging support.

In Iowa, DeSantis has received the endorsement of 37 lawmakers, and in New Hampshire, DeSantis has landed the support of 50 state legislators.

DeSantis is currently locked in a contentious primary race against former President Donald Trump.

Other Republicans in the 2024 GOP Presidential primary race are former VP Mike Pence, Gov. Chris Christie, Gov. Nikki Haley, Senator Tim Scott,  and several others.

Former Congressman Will Hurd has also recently announced his presidential candidacy.
