Agenda 47: Trump's Plan to Battle America's Drug Crisis

One of the many crises that have worsened over the last of couple years has been the abuse of fentanyl resulting in record deaths.  Presidential candidate, former President Trump (R) has just announced Agenda 47, or his plan to eradicate the drug addiction crisis in America.

President Trump has promised that once he returns to the White House, he will forge new public-private partnerships for companies willing to provide job opportunities and skills training for former addicts and will expand federal support for faith-based counseling, treatment, and recovery programs.

"We will not rest until we have ended the drug addiction crisis," President Trump said. "For three decades before my election, drug overdose deaths increased every single year. Under my leadership, we took the drug and fentanyl crisis head on and achieved the first reduction in overdose deaths in more than thirty years."

The president's plan will include placing a naval embargo on drug cartels and taking offensive military action against cartel operations, marking the most aggressive campaign ever against drug trafficking.  Additionally, Trump plans to ask Congress to impose Capital punishment on drug dealers and traffickers, another unprecedented legal move.

Agenda 47 will also crack down on China, with promises to impose costs on the Asian country if they do not cut down on the exportation of fentanyl.  The US government would also classify fentanyl as a federally controlled substance.

The plan also intends to provide help to victims of addiction and not just the persecution of those who violate such drug laws. Agenda 47 aims to provide easier access for drug addicts to seek treatment without losing their jobs through counseling.  The federal government would then start supporting faith-based counseling and recovery programs.
