Posey Drops From Congress, Endorses Mike Haridopolos

When Rep. Bill Posey told me last year in a sit down interview that he wasn't sure he would run for reelection, I respected his wished not to say anything. Bill has been a friend for many years and I wish him the best. Posey endorsed Mike Haridopolos to replace him. Good move.

Haridopolos is a solid conservative and will do well in Congress. Bill was a staunch Freedom Caucus, so it will be interesting to see what Mike does on Day 1.

I am sure there will be a contested Republican primary race, so lets wait and see,

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody: "Grateful to Gov. Ron DeSantis for signing HB 1181 into law today, enhancing public safety by creating swift and proportionate consequences for dangerous criminal behavior."

Rapper Luther Campbell: "Good afternoon, I will not be running for the United States Congress."
