Governor Ron DeSantis will launch his 2024 presidential campaign in West Des Moines, Iowa on Tuesday.

After a less-than-memorable Twitter Spaces launch, which led to a whopping $8.2 million fundraising haul, Team DeSantis is boots on the ground in Iowa and in the other two first in the nation presidential primary states—New Hampshire and South Carolina

The campaign kick-off will be held at the Eternity Church, which is situated just outside of De Moines in Clive, Iowa.

Governor DeSantis will be joined by First Lady Casey DeSantis and will hold four more campaign events in Sioux City, Council Bluffs, Pella, and Cedar Springs the following day.

DeSantis will then head to New Hampshire and South Carolina for similar events on Thursday and Friday.

On Memorial Day, DeSantis gave a brief remark at a ceremony in Jacksonville, Florida.

DeSantis is currently running in a growing field of Republican presidential candidates, including frontrunner, former President Donald Trump, who has been besting DeSantis and the rest of the field of announced candidates in all the recent public opinion polls.

President Trump will also be in Iowa on June 1.
