Hundreds of supporters of President Donald Trump rallied in West Palm Beach today as Trump's motorcade headed to the airport. Trump is traveling to New York to be arraigned tomorrow on criminal charges brought by District Attorney Alvin Bragg, whose campaign was funded in part by donations from billionaire George Soros.
A large group of people lined the street under the hot Florida sun a few miles up the road from Mar-a-Lago to show support for Trump. Many holding "Trump 2024" flags and signs reading "We will not surrender" and "Stand with Trump." Trucks drove by with Trump flags waving in the wind honking their horns. Many driving by showed their support. Some gave the middle finger, but that did not deter Trump's supporters.

Many at the event see the indictment, which is believed to be related to alleged hush money paid to Stormy Daniels, as political persecution. Some even compared it to what happens in communist countries.
"It's what Communism does," Sandra Balboa told the Floridian in an interview at the rally. "I was born in Cuba. I lived through Communism." Balboa said what is happening in American reminds her of communism in Cuba. "Propaganda, calling names, political prisoners, political agenda. Everything that happens in a Communist country is happening here. My family escaped Cuba to come here looking for freedom and now I am fighting for it. What we want today is to show our support for Donald Trump and to say God Bless America."
Silvia Shiu, who says her family is from China, attended the rally and told the Floridian in an interview that she is reminded of what happened with the Red Guard.
"This is a political persecution. This is what happened in China a long time ago," said Shiu. "I love America. I want America back to what it was. This is more and more like a communist country now. The Democrats are more like an American version of the CCP!" Shiu said the raid at Mar-a-Lago reminded her of what the Communist party started doing in China fifty years ago. "Even the normal people were getting raided by the Red Guard," said Shiu.
Other attendees said the think the law is not being applied fairly for Republicans and Democrats, pointing to the failure of the Justice Department to act on potential evidence of wrongdoing found on Hunter Biden's laptop. "You tell me with what the Clinton's have gotten away with you are going to take a misdemeanor and turn it into a felony? Get out of here!" said Matt Fullshire who called President Trump his "champion."
President Trump's motorcade travelled from Mar-a-Lago to the Palm Beach Airport at noon, passing by the rally on Southern Boulevard. Trump was seen in one of the vehicles but did not wave to the side of the road where most of his supporters were.

When asked if they think Trump could have paid hush money to Stormy Daniels, supporters dismissed it. Sandra Chase told the Floridian she knows Trump from New York and says she believes former Trump attorney Michael Cohen was the one having an affair with Daniels. "He was sleeping with Stormy Daniels! Not Donald!" said Chase.
There were no counter protestors. Everything was peaceful. After Trump drove by the majority of demonstrators left.
Trump is expected to be arraigned in New York tomorrow.
