Moskowitz Sends Comical Tweets at George Santos

Share

Rep.-elect Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) is firing shots at Rep.-elect George Santos (R-NY), a soon-to-be sworn-in and embattled Congressman out of Long Island, NY. Just a few days ago, Santos was caught embellishing his résumé and lying about his family heritage, including stating that his ancestors fled the Holocaust. There is no evidence backing up that the Brazilian-American Santos has any link to a Jewish family member.

Because of this, Moskowitz has taken some (you have to admit) funny jabs at his soon-to-be colleague in the House of Representatives.

In response to a tweet made by RNC Research which includes an ABC interview with Rep.-elect Maxwell Frost (D-FL) stating that he’s “probably just gonna have to couch surf for a little bit,” Moskowitz had an idea as to where Santos found his living situation.

“Heard George Santos got a place, near the Holocaust Museum” tweeted Moskowitz.

On New Year’s Eve, the world was given the news about the passing of Pope Benedict XVI. Moskowitz, seizing the opportunity to once again poke fun at Santos, provided a clever response.

“My condolences to George Santos on the death of his grandfather, the Pope,” said Moskowitz.

Both Moskowitz and Santos will be sworn in on January 3rd. It is possible that Santos could face ethics investigations and violation charges while in the now Republican controlled House. It appears he has become the laughing stock of the freshman class.
