Happy New Year
It’s January 2nd and most Floridians have had time to sober up from New Year’s Eve, including many within the lobby class in Tallahassee and certain lawmakers who always appear to be drunk on power.
Gov. Ron DeSantis has been working hard on his inauguration speech, and after he is sworn in on January 3rd, will deliver what many expect to be yet another booming “Florida First” and “Free State of Florida” address that will surely make Democratic heads explode, again.
The Governor ended the year on a high note, having crushed Democrats at the ballot box in November, and now on the verge of possibly dealing the “Woke society” a blow to its very fragile ego.
A final decision is expected to come down in the next couple of days as to whether DeSantis’s administration will seek to have the producers of “A Drag Queen Christmas” face the music after it was discovered that they have continued to expose minor children to sexualized acts at their most recent events.
On January 3rd, along with DeSantis being sworn into office again, newly-elected Republican members of Congress—Cory Mills, Aaron Bean, Laurel Lee, Anna Paulina Luna—will all be sworn into off in Washington, D.C.
Also, Congressmen-elect Jared Moskowitz and Maxwell Frost will be sworn into the House of Representatives.
According to Rep. Byron Donalds (R), the House Judiciary Committee and the House Oversight Committee will be working in overdrive to investigate the past actions of House Democrats and the Biden Administration.
The popcorn is already popped and ready for consumption.

"Demings Reflects on Time as Representative" by The Floridian's Daniel Molina—In the November election, Florida Rep. Val Demings (D) came short in her bid to replace Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R). The former Orlando police chief had once been considered for the role of President Joe Biden’s (D) Vice President. Voters decidedly reelected Sen. Rubio, and Rep. Demings has ended her time as a representative of Florida’s 10th congressional district.

Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL-17) accuses Biden and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas of "willfully and intentionally violating federal law" in a recent appearance on Fox Business.

Ron DeSantis announced that his administration was formally investigating the videos taken of children attending “sexualized drag shows” in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties, The Floridian has learned that the official findings and potential criminal recommendations from the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) are imminent, and will be released as early as next week.

Whether or not the disputed claim that 80% of America’s pharmaceuticals come from China and India is true, what cannot be disputed is the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) numbers which show that China and India control 31% of all drug manufacturing facilities in the world, as of August of 2019.
"Moskowitz Slams NY Republican for Lying about Jewish Heritage" by The Floridian's Jackson Bakich—With just days before all newly-elected House of Representatives and Senators are sworn in on January 3rd, a bombshell revelation has come out of the New York State, as reports discover that Long Island Rep.-elect George Santos (R-NY) lied about the family on his mother’s side fleeing the Holocaust as well as lying about his education and his former employment. At one point, Santos states that he is not Jewish, nor ever claimed to be Jewish, but refers to himself as “Jew-ish.” Rep.-elect Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) commented about the new reports in a series of tweets about Santos.

But for US Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) this season was a time for her to spend Christmas with US troops deployed overseas.

Ron DeSantis' (R) massive electoral victory to be the work of election fraud. Unlike the allegations of Russian collusion by former President Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential election, Democrats, as a whole, have not made any statements denying the 2022 Florida gubernatorial election that saw Gov. DeSantis crush former Rep. Charlie Crist (D) by 20 percentage points.
"Gaetz Clears Air Concerning his Stance on Russia" by The Floridian's Jackson Bakich—Since the accusations of Russian collusion were levied against former President Donald Trump (R), some have tried to link other Republicans to the former superpower as sympathizers or even supporters of the nation and their president Vladimir Putin. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) was recently included in that mix.

The Sunshine State is the fastest-growing state in the Union for the first time since 1957, attributing the governance of Ron DeSantis (R) as the driver for this milestone.

Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) spoke on the Senate floor in favor of Sen. Marco Rubio’s (R-FL) involvement with the immigration reform “Gang of Eight” bill as an indication that the Senator was a RINO (Republican In Name Only). When Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) was Governor of Florida following the tragic Parkland school shooting, people accused him of being a RINO as well for his signage of the bill that raised the minimum age to buy a firearm from 18 to 21.

The 4,000-page bill was approved with a 68-29 vote with 29 Republicans objecting. The Republican coalition of 18 votes was spearheaded by Senate Minority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY). On his podcast Firebrand, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) interviewed Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC) about the omnibus bill.

Since then, an order has been placed for 46 Cuban asylum-seekers to be deported. In response, Florida Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R) has issued a letter to Department of Homeland Security (DOHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, calling on him to reconsider the deportation order.
