President Trump Rallies For Rubio in Miami, Sets the Stage for Reelection Bid

MIAMI—As expected at one of his trademark campaign rallies, thousands of Trump faithful came to see former President Donald Trump campaign for Senator Marco Rubio just days before the 2022 midterm elections.

A very healthy-looking President Trump urged attendees to go out on Tuesday and reelect Senator Rubio and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and vote Republican down the ballot.

The who’s who of Republican elected officials, and Miami’s Republican political class, and candidates, were in attendance—Sens. Rubio and Rick Scott, Reps. Kat Cammack, Byron Donalds, Matt Gaetz, Michael Waltz, Mario Diaz-Balart, Vern Buchanan, Senate President Wilton Simpson, and Hialeah Mayor Esteban Bovo.

Prior to Trump taking the stage, the aforementioned Republicans took the stage to fire up the MAGA base of support.

While Rep. Cammack led the crowd with a “USA! USA!“ chant and challenged each section of the crowd to be the loudest of all the groups, Sen. Scott outlined how his National Republicans Senatorial Committee (NRSC) was going to bring home the majority in the upper chamber of Congress.

Rep. Donalds, who many believe would eventually run for the U.S. Senate or Governor, spoke to the crowd chanting, “lock her up, lock her up” in regards to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“Miami, we’re not going to do all that, we are just going to fire her Tuesday night,” said Rep. Donalds.

President Trump’s stump speech did not disappoint, as the former president, who is expected to announce his reelection campaign on November 14, threw out the usual anti-Pelosi, anti-Schumer and anti-Communist red meat to his faithful supporters.

“We want to Make America Great Again, it’s that simple,” said President Trump.” Millions of illegal immigrants are pouring in, violent crimes are out of control, the far left is indoctrinating our children with twisted race and gender insanity.”

Trump focused much of his criticism against Rubio’s opponent Rep. Val Demings, and once again questioned the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Several times during his address, Trump looked over at Rubio and his family to get his nod of approval whenever he invoked Rep. Demings.

Trump's speech touched on all the key MAGA points, but the former president also stated that he would like to see the death penalty used aggressively when it came to those convicted of drug trafficking, particularly those drug dealers who have been convicted of murdering others by their trafficking of fentanyl.

Other prominent Republicans in attendance were congressional nominees and Trump endorsees Anna Paulina Luna and Cory Mills, State Senators Ileana Garcia and Joe Gruters, and State Rep. Danny Perez.

Sen. Gruters skipped a Gov. DeSantis rally Sunday night in his home county of Sarasota to be with President Trump.
