The midterms are a month away, and the prospects of the Democratic Party continue to look grim. As the majority party in a period of downturn, prioritizing issues many voters do not consider urgent, they have a tough time selling their image.

As a result, this is causing once solidly-Democrat voting blocs, most notably Hispanics and Latinos, to start breaking away from the Party. Tuesday, Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL-3) remarks on Fox News' Evening Edit that Democrats "are in an alternate reality."

In the clip tweeted by Cammack Wednesday afternoon, host Elizabeth MacDonald plays MSNBC footage of Hispanic and Latino voters speaking of their disappointment with the Democratic Party. Additionally, MacDonald adds the footage in which President Biden (D) claims he "was sort of raised by the Puerto Rican community at home."

"My goodness, they need to hire Mr. Clean to get in there and take over that press office," Rep. Cammack jokes, "because whether it's Biden or Harris, they're in constant cleanup mode." From here, Cammack builds off of a point contributor Byron York makes earlier in the segment regarding the likelihood of Republicans taking back Congress. "And it's true, to Byron's point, they are in an alternate reality, and this is why Republicans are taking over, because we have an America First agenda. We have a plan, going into 2023. The Democrats, they'll throw every progressive agenda at the wall, and hope that something sticks."

Cammack continued, "That's their plan. But the great thing about the Republican platform is that it benefits everybody. Doesn't matter what box you check, it's about rising everyone up, and lifting them up. That is why it's so attractive, and that's why people are fleeing the Democratic Party, because Republicans, we've got their backs."

Cammack's tweet echoes this final point, saying that "Republicans are favored on inflation, crime, jobs, and immigration and we're ready to provide hope for all Americans because we have a plan for 2023."
