Crist Says Biden Was Being "Honest" on "Semi-Fascist" Remark

Barely a week after winning the Democratic primary for Governor, Charlie Crist (D) continues to alienate Floridians. As we have covered, Crist called Ron DeSantis (R) a fascist whose supporters have "hate in their hearts" and does not want their vote. Saturday, Rep Crist picked Karla Hernandez-Mats, an apparent Fidel Castro sympathizing, pro-lockdown teacher union boss, as his running mate. In response to President Biden (D) calling millions of Americans " semi-fascists" in a CNN interview, Crist said that the President was just being "honest."

Crist is asked, "what do you think about the President calling millions of Americans "semi-fascist?" He responds, "listen, he's trying to express and be honest about what he feels in his heart and his soul. And I think that's probably exactly what he did."

DeSantis' Rapid Response Director Christina Pushaw expresses disbelief that it's only a week into the general election campaign for Crist to make such a statement.

"I can't believe it hasn't even been a week of the general election campaign," Pushaw can only say.

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL-19) calls Crist a "chameleon" that "holds the rare distinction of losing statewide as a Republican, Democrat, and Independent." Additionally, Donalds says that Florida is "home to MAGA and DeSantis-loving Americans who want lower taxes, choice in education, and FREEDOM."

At this rate, you have to ask, "is Charlie Crist just trying to lose?"
