Florida's Congressional District 4 Republican primary is over and Florida State Senator Aaron Bean is set to battle the Democratic nominee in November.
Sen. Bean, who has been endorsed by Sen. Marco Rubio, defeated his opponents Erick Aguilar and Jon Chuba. Rubio has described Bean as "a principled conservative leader and business owner who knows what Florida families need and will stand up for our values in Washington."
And Bean is certainly one not to back down. Late July, during the Sunshine Summit debate for District 4, Bean issued a no-holds-barred verbal beatdown against Aguilar. Aguilar has been accused of falsely claiming to be Donald Trump or Gov. Ron DeSantis to acquire campaign funds, which caused Bean to call him a "crook" and "a wolf in Aguilar clothing."
Other prominent endorsements came from Duval, Nassau, and Clay Counties, especially from the sheriffs of the latter two counties.
Bean is all but assured to be the next member of Congress in the newly-created Republican-leaning district.
