New Poll Shows Biden has Lost the 'Breakfast Tacos' (Hispanics) Vote

Share

President Joe Biden and his administration are sinking fast into the political guacamole dip. A new Quinnipiac Poll shows that President Biden's "unique as Tacos" campaign to lure Hispanics into supporting his economic and foreign policy agendas continues to fail, and the "Breakfast Tacos" First Lady Jill Biden spoke about appears to have burned on the kitchen stove. Time could already be running out for President Biden.

The poll asked pretty straightforward questions. When participants were asked if they approve or disapprove of Joe Biden's job as president, 70% of Hispanics polled gave the President the thumbs down.

While Hispanics do not support Biden, when asked who they would want to see control the House of Representatives, Republicans or Democrats, Hispanics surveyed were split. 42% backed a Republican majority in the House, while 40% wanted to see Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democrats keep control of the House.

And when asked if they believed the country was better off with the way former President Donald Trump left the country or the current state of the Biden administration's governing, Hispanics aligned with "White" surveyed voters. Some 73% of Hispanics, 70% of Whites, and 43% of Blacks believe that Biden is stirring the country straight down to the bottom of the bowl salsa. That means that only 23% of Hispanics believe that the country is on a good footing. Aye Caramba!

Florida Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R), who is of Cuban-American descent, is pleased to see the poll that shows "Hispanics are recognizing the need for real leadership.”

“Hispanics have always stood for patriotism, family values, hard work and entrepreneurship. For some time now, I’ve been saying that our natural home is in the GOP and I’m excited to see polling showing that Hispanics are recognizing the need for real leadership," stated Rep. Salazar in response to The Floridian's request for comment.

In a statement to The Floridian, Senator Marco Rubio stated that Americans of all walks of life are "tired" of the "radical" Biden Administration not caring about "communities across the country," and do not care about the ongoing border crisis."

“The Biden Administration is run by a bunch of radical, out-of-touch progressives. They don’t know and they don’t care what is happening in communities across the country. They don’t care about rising prices. They don’t care about crime. And they don’t care about the crisis on the border. They spend all their time on crazy ideas instead of things that actually matter, and people are tired of it," state Sen. Rubio.
