The controversial “tacogate” comment that First Lady Jill Biden unleashed that compared Hispanics to “Breakfast Tacos,” has taken a life of its own.

Moments after voting on the floor of the House of Representatives on Wednesday. Rep. Byron Donalds (R) became the latest Republican to dress down thee “insensitive” and ill-advised remark.

“I thought it was disgusted and insensitive. I can only imagine if Melanie had said something like that, what they would say,” said Rep. Donalds.

Rep. Donalds pointed out that First Lady Biden “read it” and thought  the use of the term was ‘OK.’

“You just can do stuff like that,” added Donalds. “If a Republican said some mess like that, he’d be vilified as being racist, and be vilified of being completely disrespectful of the Hispanic community.”

Donalds went on to say that both the Democratic Party and the Biden Administration have dismissed and taken for granted the Latino and Black vote.

“The Biden administration and the Democrat Party have taken for granted the votes of minorities in the country for a very long time,” added Donalds.

Donalds then said that Democrats believe that if someone is a “person of color,” they are supportive of Democratic positions.

“They just assume that because you are a “person of color,” that you are supposed to be a liberal Democrat, that is just not true,” concluded Donalds.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio mocked Biden’s “Tacos” remark by changing his Twitter profile image to a hardshell taco. Biden has since apologized for making the remark.
