Gaetz Grills Olsen on Biden Family Corruption

As more and more evidence of Hunter Biden's corruption, and of his father President Joe Biden's (D) possible involvement, becomes apparent, few Americans have been as vocal in demanding a deeper investigation into the Biden family's foreign business dealings than Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL).

During July 28th's House Judiciary Committee hearing, Rep. Gaetz verbally sparred with Assistant Attorney General Matthew Olsen regarding Hunter's laptop. Olsen spoke no more than eight times of an "ongoing investigation," but neither confirmed nor denied any of Gaetz's questions. Instead, Olsen's primary response was simply, "I do not talk outside of courtrooms about ongoing investigations."

Gaetz's assault opened with the blunt question, "is Hunter Biden a national security threat?"

The back-and-forth continued with Gaetz hammering the Assistant Attorney General, who continued to refuse to offer a straight answer. The Representative spoke of FBI whistleblowers who came forth to Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA) about the Bureau "ratholing" potentially damning information regarding Hunter Biden.

Gaetz then states that this diminishes the FBI's credibility in the eyes of the public. He claims the FBI has "no problem" leaking information unrelated to the Biden family, citing incidents of parents speaking against school boards being considered national security threats.

Olsen's continued silence about Biden prompts Gaetz to ask for a classified briefing on any information he has. Olsen replies that he would be "happy" to talk about issues of national security. This prompts Gaetz to ask, "is this a matter of national security?"

"We do not talk about outside of courtrooms about ongoing investigations," was Olsen's predictable response.

A frustrated Gaetz finally ceases questioning with scathing remarks about the FBI's negligence in investigating the Bidens. The Representative states that "we're watching a crime spree in progress" that, in the words of Jim Biden, is being gotten away with due to plausible deniability exemplified by Olsen. He then concludes that "winter is coming" and that his questions will be answered sooner rather than later.

Footage of the questioning was provided by Gaetz via Twitter Thursday morning.

"BREAKING: Senior DOJ Official accidentally CONFIRMS “ongoing investigation” into Hunter Biden’s Laptop and corrupt business deals while refusing to answer simple questions on the Big Guy’s involvement. #WinterIsComing," Gaetz tweeted.
