Biden Sends 5 Million Barrels of Oil Overseas; FL Politicians React

Share

According to AAA, Gas prices have dipped around 15 cents across the country in the past month but are still about $1.59 higher than a year ago. Conservatives around the country have been a constant reminder to the Biden administration about this issue. Moreover, Reuters shared a report stating that the Biden administration sent a large amount of American oil – 5 million barrels to be exact – overseas to Asia and Europe. In turn, Republicans around the state of Florida have reacted to the news with disdain.

“While American families are struggling to afford $5 per gallon gas, @JoeBiden sent over 5 MILLION barrels of oil overseas from our strategic reserves. Biden’s failed energy policy continues to put America last," stated Sen. Scott.

Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) shared a similar message, questioning where the 5 million barrels of oil went.

“Where did 5 million barrels of oil from our strategic oil reserve go? Hint: it didn’t go to Americans to ease our pain at the pump. Biden sent it to Europe and Asia. Last time I checked, Biden was President of the U.S., not India or Italy. But he continues to put #AmericaLast," stated Rep. Mast.

Sen. Scott continued, adding, "Just a few ways to describe @JoeBiden’s presidency. Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad.”

President Joe Biden (D) has used the Russo-Ukrainian War as reason for the ongoing inflation that has plagued Americans, blaming  the “Putin Price-Hike” for the increases on payments at the pump and for inflation. And according to recent polling by RealClearPolitics, President Biden’s average approval rating sits at 38.4%, and his disapproval rating is at 56.8%.

The nation as a whole doesn’t seem to approve of Joe Biden’s recent performance either.
