“ Today I am announcing that I will no longer seek the Democratic nomination for Florida State Senate District 36. This difficult decision comes after consultation with my family, close friends and campaign team. Although we have been humbled by the overwhelming local and constituents these last 4 years & I thank every one of them for entrusting me to do so. I look forward to refocusing all my energy on my family, criminal law practice, and health, and although I have no imminent or future political plans, I will continue to b a vocal advocate”
