Byron Donalds: NYC Mayor 'Paying Lip Service' to Victim's Families

In New York City, Sunday, a man was shot in the chest and killed on the Q train in Manhattan by a stranger, unprovoked, according to a Fox News article. The victim has been identified as Daniel Enriquez, 48, and was employed at Goldman Sachs as an investment researcher. Members of Enriquez’s relatives had different messages for the Mayor of New York, Eric Adams (D).

 “No one, no one, no one should have this happen to their family,” Enriquez’s sister, Griselda Vile said in a statement to the New York Post. “And the worst part is, even if they catch this person he’s going to be out again.”

According to the article, “New York has become known for its lax bail reform laws that allow a large number of offenders to be releases on their own recognizance following arrest and arraignment, although this typically does not apply to murder charges.”

“Do your job,” said Griselda’s husband, Glenn Vile. “Get crime off the streets.”

The murderer is still at large. The man currently accused by police has 19 prior arrests.

Florida Congressman, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), did not mince words when it came to his opinion on the New York City Mayor and his Democratic policies.

“DEMs soft on crime policies like cashless bail & refusal to prosecute empower criminals & leave innocent Americans like Daniel Enriquez dead on a Sunday morning while out for brunch. Liberal politicians like @NYCMayor are paying lip service to these victims and their families.”

Recently, Donalds was named the Most Conservative Florida GOP Lawmaker by Liberty Score. He tweeted his appreciation for the award on Tuesday.
