Steube Announces Re-election

America First US Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) made his re-election bid official by announcing that he will run in District 17 once again.

Rep. Steube made his announcement after the District 17 map showed he would retain much of his current congressional district, including Sarasota, Charlotte, and Lee Counties.

"Florida’s 17th district deserves an America First conservative who will fight for freedom and liberty, and I have a proven track record of doing exactly that in service to this district and our country," said U.S. Representative Greg Steube. "I am honored to seek re-election once again in District 17, and I applaud Governor DeSantis for his leadership during the redistricting process."

While redistricting may have shaken the base of more than a few Florida politicians,, Steube has retained 60% of his voter base with the new district map.  Steube first gained popularity in the region when he initially ran in 2018 and was endorsed by conservative organizations like the NRA, National Right to Life, Family Research Council, and Club for Growth, who just endorsed him again yesterday for 2022 in District 17.

Steube is a US military veteran who served during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  His career and record in Congress has earned him, "A+," ratings from groups that advocate for the 2nd Amendment and Pro-Life policies. Even the American Conservative Union (ACU) gave Representative Steube a 92.28 rating.

"We need strong conservatives in Congress so we can reclaim the gavel from Speaker Pelosi, reverse the damage Joe Biden and House Democrats have done to our country, and implement bold conservative policy in Washington," added Congressman Steube.
