Overnight, US Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) received bipartisan backlash for violent threats made against Russia, calling for Russians to take out President Putin. In response, many prominent Florida Republicans have called out Sen. Graham and echoed President Trump.
Businessman and combat veteran, Cory Mills (R-FL), who is also running for Congress in Florida's 7th District, contributed to the Graham controversy this morning. Although, the congressional hopeful gave a more positive spin on the very divisive message:
"Stop listening to Lindsey Graham! Listen to President Trump and Tucker Carlson," stated Mills, also adding that Graham, "wants war, but those of us who have fought in wars know this is not our fight. America doesn’t need another endless war. Secure our own nation first."
State Representative Anthony Sabatini (R-32) also contributed to the conversation. Known as one of the most conservative legislators in the Florida House of Representatives, Sabatini called Senator Graham's comments, "Biden-level stupidity and recklessness."
Former President Trump (R) has been relatively quiet in politics recently, but the Russian invasion of Ukraine has certainly brought out some provocative comments on the current administration.
Trump made headlines as he compared the Russian invasion to the Holocaust and blamed the leadership of the Biden Administration for allowing the strike to happen, insisting it would not if he were still in office.
