Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) has an extensive list of names that he’s feuding with, and a newly relocated political figure has just joined the ranks. After news surfaced that political commentator and former news anchor Chris Cuomo had relocated to the Florida, Governor DeSantis' team extended a welcome to the newest member of what he’s calling “the Lockdown Libs Tour.”

As reported, Cuomo was fired from CNN after it was uncovered that he was using his position within the news company to help his brother, former Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo (D), as the politician underwent a sexual assault scandal, which ultimately led to his resignation from office.

After staying away from the spotlight, the commentator has now reappeared with news that he has relocated to West Palm Beach.

In response to the news, Governor DeSantis is welcoming Cuomo, directing a message to supporters to notify them that “the disgraced former CNN anchor was just spotted maskless while enjoying the sunshine in Palm Beach.”

“Let’s not forget, this is the same Cuomo who criticized Governor DeSantis for not forcing children to weak masks and said the governor was holding Floridians ‘hostage,’” said the message.

However, the team concluded that “now that he is no longer on TV, Cuomo wants to get a piece of the freedom that he so brazenly ridiculed Governor DeSantis for protecting.”

The team then reminded supporters that New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D) had visited the Sunshine State for New Year’s, and they included “Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, and his [Cuomo] CNN pal Don Lemon on the laundry list of hypocritical Democrats who love nothing more than criticizing Governor DeSantis publicly only to sneak away to Florida the first chance they get.”

As the Governor has affirmed before, the team stressed that “freedom isn’t going anywhere in Florida.”
